Claude Code & the new vibe

Claude Opus 4.5 is here – and so is vibe coding. A single prompt now spins up entire apps: logic, interfaces, database structure, even animations. And it works. For creatives, this isn't a threat. It's a shift. One that puts pressure on surface-level work – and boosts deep design.

What does it mean for creative workers?

“Designers will benefit from AI” – that’s only true if we shift from execution to structure, product thinking and creative orchestration.

  • Systems over surfaces: AI is great at visuals. Still weak at vision.
  • Product-first mindset: Tools like Framer, Webflow and Make bring us closer to the outcome – and into the product loop.
  • Bridge role: Design now connects users, data, and logic. That’s the sweet spot.

So, what now?

In my own work, I see it daily: the designers who matter are those who shape systems and guide process. Claude Code is not the end. It’s the beginning of a new posture. Not fear – but focus.
